SCHEDULE AN INTRODUCTORY CLASS

I open the morning session with chapter one, introducing terminology and etiquette. The class will learn hands-on about the bid box, guide cards, boards, the bidding ladder, the auction, and more. The morning ends in STROLL ONTO BRIDGE.™
After a lunch break, the afternoon session will introduce the mechanics of basic bidding, starting with the 1S opening bid and responses, ending in card play.
For students with knowledge of bridge terms and bridge experience
I will open the morning session with 1S and responses, followed by brief card play.
After a lunch break, I will introduce 1H opening bids and responses, ending in card play.
Should the class have more experience, I will teach major opening bids and responses in the morning session, followed by minor opening bids and responses after lunch.
OR
I will teach other chapters, concepts, or conventions as requested.

- Dummy cards
The organizers will provide
- A venue
- A projector and screen, or
- A monitor (a large TV with either wireless capability, or HDMI cable access)
- Card tables and chairs
- Guide cards
- Bid boxes
- Bridgemates (for a brief demonstration only, one per table if possible)
- Decks of playing cards (one per table)
- Scratch paper (small size – 2” x 3”, 4 pieces per table)
- Nametags
- Sharpies
- Registration forms of your choice
- Lunches for attendees
- Assistants (one per table if possible). They must be willing to adhere to my guidelines.
- Clean-up of the venue
